The Classic Zinfandel Rosé - Beringer is a delightfully fresh and fruity specimen, reflecting the historic Beringer winery's ability to create quality wines that are both accessible and enjoyable. Located in Napa Valley, California, Beringer is one of the oldest and most respected wineries in the United States, with a history dating back to 1876. This winery has earned a solid reputation for producing a wide range of wines that explore richness and diversity of Californian grapes.

Zinfandel is a grape variety that lends itself particularly well to the production of rosé wines, thanks to its fruit-rich aromatic profile and its lively acidity. Beringer's Classic Zinfandel Rosé celebrates these qualities, offering a wine that is both refreshing and rich in flavor.

At the sight, the wine presents itself with an attractive pale pink color, which invites tasting. On the nose, intense aromas of fresh red fruits emerge, such as strawberries, cherries and raspberries, combined with delicate floral accents that add a dimension of elegance and freshness. Winemaking is aimed at preserving the freshness and aromatic intensity of the grapes, emphasizing the liveliness and pleasantness of the wine.

In the mouth, the Classic Zinfandel Rosé is characterized by a beautiful acidity and a balanced sweetness, which together create a harmonious and inviting taste profile. The fruity notes perceived on the nose are also found on the palate, where they are accompanied by a light creaminess which gives the wine a pleasant roundness.

Thanks to its freshness and aromatic profile, Classic Zinfandel Rosé is an extremely versatile wine for gastronomic pairings, ideal for accompanying light appetizers, fish-based dishes, summer cuisine or as an aperitif. It is also a perfect choice for festive occasions or informal gatherings, where a young, lively rosé wine can add a touch of cheer.

Winery history
The estate was established by brothers Jacob and Frederick Beringer in the late 19th century: they purchased land at the foot of Spring Mountain and produced their first grapes and made their first sales around 1876. The old stone winery was built using the gravity-flow method and became operational for the 1877 harvest; the Rhine House was later constructed between 1883 and 1884. Throughout the 20th century the estate maintained continuous operation, opening guided public tours in the post‑Prohibition period and preserving hand‑dug aging caves.
Production philosophy
Beringer combines historical heritage with modern production: it selects grapes from different Napa subzones to express the terroir, focuses on the consistent quality of its Cabernet and Chardonnay, and offers visitor experiences and direct sales to highlight the connection between the land, historic architecture and its wines.
Terroir and vineyards
The winery is located in St. Helena, in the heart of Napa Valley, with historic vineyards at the foot of Spring Mountain. The estate includes historic buildings and an extensive system of underground caves used for aging wines.
