The Cornas AOC - Les Arènes - M. Chapoutier is an extraordinary expression of the Syrah grape variety, grown in the steep hills of the Cornas appellation, located in the northern part of the Rhône Valley in France. This area is renowned for producing powerful, concentrated red wines, exclusively from Syrah, which can age beautifully, developing remarkable complexity over time.

Michel Chapoutier is one of the Rhône Valley's most respected winemakers, known for his dedication to quality, expression of terroir and sustainability. Chapoutier has adopted biodynamic farming practices in many of his vineyards, aiming for production that respects the environment and faithfully reflects the unique characteristics of each vineyard.

Les Arènes refers to the characteristic soils of Cornas, which are rich in decomposed granite, sometimes described as "sandstones" due to their particular texture and drainage capacity. These unique terroir conditions, together with the favorable solar exposure of the Cornas hills, allow the Syrah grape to fully express its power, its spicy aromatic profile and its tannic structure.

At sight, the Cornas AOC - Les Arènes - M. Chapoutier has an intense and deep red color. On the nose, the wine offers a range of complex aromas that include ripe red and black fruits, notes of black pepper, sweet spices, leather and nuances of aromatic herbs and minerals, reflecting the richness of the Syrah and the minerality of the Cornas terroir.

In the mouth, the wine reveals a solid structure, supported by robust but well-integrated tannins and a lively acidity that gives freshness and balance. The aromatic complexity perceived on the nose is also found on the palate, evolving into a long and persistent finish that leaves a lasting impression.

This wine is ideal for accompanying rich and tasty dishes, such as grilled red meats, stews, game and mature cheeses. The Cornas AOC - Les Arènes - M. Chapoutier also has excellent aging potential, which allows you to appreciate its evolution and maturation of flavors over time.
