The Côtes du Rhône "La Même" from Domaine Gramenon is a perfect example of South Rhone winemaking art, an authentic expression of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape terroir. Made mainly with native varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, this wine stands out for its impeccable balance between structure and freshness.

The winemaking method involves natural fermentations with indigenous yeasts and aging in large wooden barrels that preserve the fragrance of ripe red fruits, accompanied by intriguing spicy and wild herb notes typical of the Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, "La Même" envelops with soft and well-integrated tannins, supported by a lively acidity that gives energy and persistence.

It pairs wonderfully with grilled meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, confirming its versatility and the genuine character of the territory it comes from.

Winery history
Founded in 1978 in Montbrison-sur-Lez by Philippe Laurent and Michèle Aubéry-Laurent, the estate has grown while maintaining a natural farming approach. After Philippe’s passing, Michèle continued to manage the estate together with the family, with their son Maxime-François involved in the estate’s wine projects.
Production philosophy
Vineyards are managed without synthetic chemicals, following biodynamic practices and with minimal intervention in the cellar: hand-harvesting, spontaneous fermentations and limited or no use of sulfites depending on the vintage. The stated goal is to produce lively, expressive, approachable wines that emphasize fruit and terroir.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located in Montbrison-sur-Lez in the Drôme provençale, at the foot of the Prealps. Hill vineyards sit at about 300–350 meters altitude on sandstone soils and layers of marine molasse; the estate also includes parcels in neighboring areas belonging to the northern part of the Côtes du Rhône appellation.
