The Côte-Rôtie La Chana by Benjamin et David Duclaux is a French red wine from the renowned Rhône Valley region. This wine is characterized by its complexity and elegance, which fully reflect the typicity of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. Produced mainly with Syrah grapes, and sometimes with a small addition of Viognier, it presents a robust yet harmonious structure.
On the nose, the Côte-Rôtie La Chana surprises with its intense notes of wild berries, black pepper, and a slight hint of aromatic herbs and spices, also thanks to aging in barrels. On the palate, the balance between acidity and tannins is impeccable, with a persistent aftertaste that gives way to sensations of chocolate and tobacco.
Ideal for pairing with red meat dishes such as roasts and stews, it also pairs perfectly with aged cheeses. A wine that promises to evolve beautifully with aging, becoming even more captivating and complex after a few years of maturation in the cellar.
