Winery history
The estate retains a Girondine-style residence dating from the early 19th century. Modern viticulture was relaunched in 1963 by Édouard Carretero. In subsequent years management continued under Philippe Carretero, who developed the vineyard and the range of wines. The estate's website and technical sheets document its transformation toward an operation focused on organic wines and the modernization of cellar practices.
Production philosophy
They practice organic viticulture with a focus on biodiversity and minimal intervention in the vineyard and cellar. The approach aims to express the local terroir and produce authentic wines through precise controls in the vineyard and during winemaking.
Terroir and vineyards
