The Dolcetto d'Alba DOC produced by Castello di Neive is a wine that fully reflects the distinctive characteristics of the Dolcetto vine, grown in the hills around Alba, in the heart of Piedmont. This area is renowned for the production of red wines that stand out for their drinkability, fruity aromas and a pleasant freshness, and the Dolcetto d'Alba from Castello di Neive is no exception, offering a perfect balance between taste and aroma.

The vinification of Dolcetto d'Alba follows traditional methods, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and intensity of the varietal aromas. The wine does not undergo long aging, to maintain the characteristics of fruitiness and liveliness that distinguish it unaltered.

In appearance, Dolcetto d'Alba has a brilliant ruby red color, with violet reflections that underline its youth. On the nose, it opens with an intensely fruity bouquet, dominated by notes of cherry, raspberry and plum, enriched by light floral nuances and a touch of bitter almond, typical of the vine.

In the mouth, the wine is surprisingly round and soft, with delicate tannins and a well-balanced acidity that contributes to a pleasant sensation of freshness. The fruity flavors perceived on the nose are also found on the palate, making Dolcetto d'Alba extremely pleasant and easy to drink.

Ideal as a wine throughout the meal, Dolcetto d'Alba DOC from Castello di Neive pairs perfectly with a wide range of dishes, from traditional Piedmontese cuisine, such as cold cuts and cheese appetizers, to robust first courses and white meats. Its versatility and accessibility make it an excellent choice for informal and convivial occasions, where wine becomes the protagonist of the table, inviting sharing and the pleasure of good company.

Dolcetto d'Alba from Castello di Neive represents a faithful example of the ability of this vine to offer wines of great enjoyment and character, celebrating the richness and variety of the Piedmontese wine scene.
