The Dolcetto d'Alba DOC produced by La Ganghija is an excellent example of how Piedmontese winemaking tradition can deliver wines of great quality and character. This wine is made exclusively with Dolcetto grapes, cultivated in the ideal hills of the Alba area, famous for its fertile soil and favorable climate for vineyards.

The vinification of La Ganghija's Dolcetto d'Alba follows traditional methods, which include a moderate maceration of the grapes to preserve the natural fruitiness and varietal characteristics of the grape. The result is a wine with an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections that testify to its youth.

On the nose, the Dolcetto d'Alba DOC opens with lively aromas of cherry, plum, and a slight note of bitter almond, typical of Dolcetto. These fragrances are paired with delicate nuances of herbs and spices, enriching the olfactory experience. On the palate, the wine is surprisingly robust, with a good structure and soft tannins that make it enjoyable at a young age but also capable of aging well over several years.

The acidity is well balanced and contributes to a pleasant freshness that persists in the finish, making this wine an excellent pairing for a wide range of dishes, from cold cuts and soft cheeses to more structured dishes based on red meat and game.

La Ganghija's Dolcetto d'Alba DOC is thus a wine that satisfies the enthusiast in search of authenticity and typicality, offering a tasting experience that is both immediately enjoyable and promising for the future.
