The Dolcetto d'Alba DOC "Le Filere" produced by Vallebelbo winery comes from the picturesque hills of the Langhe, an area in Piedmont renowned for high-quality wine production. This wine is an authentic expression of the Dolcetto grape, known for its natural predisposition to offer pleasantly fruity and immediately enjoyable wines.

The Dolcetto d'Alba "Le Filere" is distinguished by its ruby red color with violet hues, typical of the grape variety. On the nose, it opens with a rich and intense bouquet, dominated by notes of ripe cherries, plums, and a slight hint of bitter almond, an intrinsic characteristic of Dolcetto. There are also aromatic nuances reminiscent of sweet spices, derived from a brief maturation in steel tanks that preserve the wine's freshness and fruitiness.

On the palate, "Le Filere" presents a pleasing softness, supported by good acidity that gives liveliness. The tannins are delicate and well-integrated, making the wine balanced and easy to drink. The aftertaste persists with echoes of red fruit and a slight spiciness that invites another sip.

It is a wine that best expresses the characteristics of Dolcetto when young, so it is recommended to enjoy it within the first 2-3 years after harvest to appreciate its freshness and vivacity. Perfect for accompanying light appetizers, pasta dishes with meat sauce, and fresh cheeses, the Dolcetto d'Alba "Le Filere" by Vallebelbo represents an excellent introduction to red wines of Piedmont, offering a pleasant experience without being too demanding.
