Etna Rosso delle Tenute Mannino di Sicilia is a red wine of great elegance and complexity, born on the slopes of Mount Etna. The uniqueness of this product mainly derives from its unique terroir, enriched by the fertile volcanic soil that imparts remarkable mineral and spicy nuances to the wine.

The color is an intense ruby red with slight garnet reflections. On the nose, it reveals lively aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and wild strawberries, accompanied by hints of aromatic herbs and a light smoky note, typical of volcanic influence. On the palate, Etna Rosso is rich and structured, with well-integrated tannins and a persistent freshness that invites another sip. The finish is long and pleasantly aromatic.

Ideal for accompanying red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses. Its structure and intensity also make it perfect for special occasions, offering an authentic tasting experience deeply connected to its place of origin. A wine that expresses the essence of Etna with every sip.

Winery history
The Mannino family has been active in the Etna area for generations: their entrepreneurial roots trace back to Baron Franz Mannino, a key figure in the export of wine and citrus since the 19th century. In the 1990s Giuseppe Mannino relaunched wine production, and today leadership rests with Giorgio, representing the sixth generation. The winery has solidified its local production, agritourism activities and its presence in domestic and international markets.
Production philosophy
Develop wines that express the volcanic terroir of Etna through freshness and minerality, distinguish the wines from the different slopes, and integrate modern winemaking practices with hospitality experiences and typical agricultural products.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on Etna’s north and south slopes: on the southern slope white varieties such as Carricante and Catarratto predominate; on the northern slope vineyards planted with Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio are found. The estate manages several properties including Tenuta del Gelso, Pietra Marina and Le Sciarelle.
