The Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Altromerlot of Torre Rosazza is a wine that embodies the elegance and complexity of the Merlot grape grown on the gentle Friulian hills. The grapes ripen in a morainic origin terroir, with well-drained and mineral-rich soils, which give the wine a harmonious structure and a deep character. The aging takes place in oak barrels, imparting enveloping hints of vanilla and sweet spices, without overshadowing the freshness and liveliness typical of the variety.

In the glass, the Altromerlot shows an intense ruby color, followed by a bouquet of ripe cherry, plum, and light balsamic notes. The sip is rounded, velvety, and full-bodied, with soft tannins and a persistent finish that invites further tastings. Ideal paired with red meats, roasts, and aged cheeses, this wine masterfully expresses the potential of Merlot in the heart of Friuli.
