Boodles British Gin is distinguished from the classic Gins by the absence of the typical citrus note, which makes it ideal to be enjoyed with soda and lemon.
Boodles British Gin is made in the classic London Dry style and is inspired by an ancient recipe from 1845. The botanicals used are sage, rosemary and nutmeg. A great lack of botanicals and citrus fruits brings minimal aromas to the nose and taste. The ingredients come together to give Boodles a sweet herbal quality, balancing out the notes of the juniper.
An excellent Gin produced in Great Britain from English wheat, distilled with the Carter Head method still in Cheshire, bottled in Essex, and packaged in Scottish glass with labels printed in Wales.
Clear and colorless to the eye. The olfactory bouquet is broad and complex, with light hints of medicinal herbs, followed by sweet and soft spicy notes. The sip is particularly fresh and mentholated, of good length and clean on the finish.
