The Botanist is the only gin in the world produced on the Scottish island of Islay, famous for its renowned Whisky. A distillate obtained with 31 herbs, 9 of which are classic, and 22 including flowers and herbs, all exclusively hand-picked on the island. The result is a unique and inimitable gin, with a complex structure capable of conquering from the first sip.
Colorless and crystalline to the eye, it offers the nose aromas of menthol, juniper, coriander and anise, to finish with citrus notes. The sip is rich and very soft, perfectly balanced by the freshness of the citrus fruit, with a very long persistence.
The Botanist is a highly appreciated gin used by barmen to recreate fabulous cocktails.

Ageing
Maturation in various casks (warehoused on the island), using different wood types and quality finishes; some gin editions are rested in casks (cask-rested).
