The Grappa AB Selezione Cru Barolo represents a sublime expression of the Piedmontese distillate, obtained exclusively from selected grape pomace of Nebbiolo grapes, used for the production of the prestigious Barolo wine. Distilled using traditional methods, this grappa is aged in small oak barrels that confer extraordinary complexity and a distinctive character.
The color of this grappa is an intense amber, resulting from the years spent maturing in oak barrels. On the nose, it is distinguished by its rich aromas of dried fruit, sweet spices, and a slight hint of vanilla, a legacy of its passage through wood. On the palate, the Grappa AB Selezione Cru Barolo shows a robust yet balanced body, with an enveloping palate that reveals tastes of dark chocolate, toasted almond, and a lingering finish with a slight note of tobacco.
