The Groppello Riviera del Garda Classico DOC produced by the Avanzi winery, which dates back to 1931, is a treasure trove of tradition and winemaking passion that reflects the essence of the Brescian territory where it is cultivated. This wine stands out for its uniqueness, primarily due to the indigenous Groppello variety, which perfectly adapts to the microclimate of Lake Garda.

With its delicate and brilliant ruby red color, Groppello di Avanzi releases intense and inviting aromas. On the nose, one can perceive floral notes of violet and subtle hints of fresh red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, enriched by a light touch of spices and a breath of aromatic herbs.

The palate is caressed by a balanced and harmonious structure, characterized by soft and well-integrated tannins that make the sip pleasantly velvety. The acidity is present but never intrusive, contributing to maintain a fresh and persistent taste, with a slightly almond-like finish.

Perfect for accompanying local cuisine dishes, such as white meats and lake fish, the Groppello Riviera del Garda Classico DOC from Avanzi is also ideal with risottos, particularly risotto with tench, which enhances its characteristics of freshness and harmony.

This wine not only represents an oenological excellence but also serves as a spokesperson for the history and traditions of the Garda territory, telling through its taste the elegance and strength of a viticulture that respects its environment. Tasting it offers an immersive experience, a journey between taste and tradition in one of the most captivating wine regions of Italy.
