Il Santo di Castello Vicchiomaggio is a fortified wine produced in the heart of Tuscany, in a land rich with history and winemaking tradition. Made primarily with Trebbiano grapes, carefully harvested from the vineyards around Greve in Chianti, this wine stands out for its rare concentration and natural sweetness. The aging method follows an ancient tradition, with a passage in wooden barrels that provides a perfect balance between notes of ripe fruit, honey, and a pleasant almond hint. In the glass, it presents a bright golden color and an enveloping bouquet, reminiscent of candied fruit and light spices. Il Santo is well suited to accompany cream-based desserts and dry pastries, but it is also perfect to sip on its own as a meditation wine, offering a refined and persistent tasting experience, typical of the best Tuscan expressions.
