The Lagrein Alto Adige DOC by Alois Lageder represents an intense and authentic expression of the Lagrein grape variety, cultivated in the picturesque alpine terroirs of South Tyrol. The hand-harvested grapes reach full maturity thanks to the influence of the cool climate and significant temperature variations characterizing the production area.

This enveloping red presents a deep ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose, complex aromas of ripe wild berries, such as cherries and blackberries, emerge, accompanied by spicy nuances and light violet notes. On the palate, it is structured and smooth, with well-integrated tannins and an elegant persistence that recalls scents of plum and black pepper.

The aging in oak barrels contributes to providing balance and finesse, enhancing the peculiarities of the territory. Excellent paired with game dishes, roasts, and aged cheeses, it is an ideal wine for those who wish to discover the richness of the South Tyrolean mountains.
