The Langhe Nebbiolo DOC from Gianfranco Alessandria's winery is a pure and vibrant expression of one of the most noble Piedmont grape varieties. This wine, cultivated in the renowned hills of Langhe, is famous for its elegant structure and deep aromas.

The color of Langhe Nebbiolo DOC is typically intense ruby with garnet nuances that intensify with aging. On the nose, it offers a complex and inviting bouquet, where notes of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry stand out, enriched by floral undertones of rose and violet, as well as hints of spices and earthiness typical of Nebbiolo.

On the palate, it is balanced and well-structured. The tannin, though present, is finely polished, harmoniously marrying with the wine's lively acidity, leading to a persistent and pleasantly fresh finish. Aging in wooden barrels imparts a subtle complexity to this Nebbiolo, adding delicate notes of vanilla and chocolate that blend without overpowering the wine's fruity nature.

Langhe Nebbiolo DOC from Gianfranco Alessandria pairs perfectly with Piedmont cuisine dishes, such as truffle tagliatelle, braised meats, and game, but can also be an excellent companion for matured cheeses and lightly spiced dishes. Ideal for a special evening or simply to enjoy a good glass of wine, this Nebbiolo represents an excellent choice for those seeking a wine with a strong territorial identity and refined expressiveness.
