The Liquore Pastis 2016 of Chateau des Creissauds is a refined expression of Provençal tradition, carefully distilled to enhance the fine notes of anise and licorice typical of this drink. Coming from a terroir rich in Mediterranean aromatic herbs, this pastis stands out for the balance between freshness and aromatic depth. The careful and slow aging allows the spicy and balsamic hints to fully develop, offering a complex yet smooth tasting experience.

On the nose, fragrances of star anise, wild fennel, and a slight touch of aromatic herbs emerge, while on the palate it reveals itself to be enveloping and persistent, with a slightly sweet and spicy aftertaste. Excellent as an aperitif diluted with fresh water, it pleasantly accompanies Mediterranean appetizers and fish dishes, enhancing the flavor notes with its unique aromaticity. A must for those who love the authentic character of the south of France.
