The Lugana DOC of Cà dei Frati, known by the name "I Frati" and presented in a Jeroboam astucciato format, represents an authentic oenological gem of the Lombard territory, precisely in the suggestive area between Lake Garda and the southern shore of the lake itself. Made primarily with Turbiana grapes, this white wine stands out for its freshness and minerality, the result of the unique microclimate and the clayey and silty soils typical of the area.

The aging method, careful to preserve the natural liveliness of the grape variety, highlights notes of ripe white fruit and delicate floral aromas, with a pleasant savory aftertaste reminiscent of the lake breeze. On the palate it is harmonious and balanced, capable of wonderfully accompanying dishes based on fish, shellfish, and white meats, confirming itself as an ideal choice for those seeking elegance and versatility in the glass. This Jeroboam bottle, with its important stage presence, is also perfect for special occasions and moments of sharing.

Winery history
The estate is documented as far back as 1782, and its present course took shape when Felice Dal Cero moved to Lugana di Sirmione in 1939. The Dal Cero family progressively bottled and promoted Lugana; in 1969 Pietro Dal Cero took part in the establishment of the appellation by bottling its first label. Today the estate is managed by succeeding generations of the family, who carry on production and activities tied to the local area.
Production philosophy
Careful work in the vineyard and cellar, with separate vinifications for each vineyard to capture the different expressions of the terroir. The estate declares respect for the raw material, up-to-date techniques and carefully planned ageing to produce wines with integrity and longevity.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate's main vineyards are concentrated in the Lugana di Sirmione area and around the tower of San Martino della Battaglia on Lake Garda; in the early 2000s the estate also acquired approximately 11 hectares in Valpolicella, where the Amarone 'Pietro Dal Cero' is produced.
