Luxardo Maraschino is a distinctive Italian spirit, produced by the historic Luxardo distillery, which is world-renowned for the quality and originality of its liqueurs. This product is distilled from Marasca cherries, a variety of sour cherry native to the Dalmatian region, now grown in the area of Torreglia where Luxardo has its orchards and distilleries.

The production process is laborious and adheres to the original recipe dating back to 1821, when Girolamo Luxardo began production of this liqueur. The cherries are first fully fermented, including the skins, seeds, and stems, and then distilled in small copper stills. The resulting spirit is then aged in ashwood barrels for at least two years, a process that contributes to the rich and complex flavor of the Maraschino.

The Luxardo Maraschino 70cl is characterized by an intense and enveloping aroma, with notes of cherry, almond, and hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is sweet but not cloying, with an elegant persistence of fruit notes and a delicate bitter aftertaste that makes it particularly enjoyable and well-balanced.

It is an extremely versatile liqueur, loved both for being sipped neat, perhaps chilled, and as a sophisticated ingredient in classic cocktails like the Aviation or the Hemingway Daiquiri. Its presence enriches any home liquor library and adds a touch of elegance to the art of cocktail making.

Packaged in an elegant bottle that reflects the prestige and tradition of the producer, Luxardo Maraschino is a must-have for fine spirit enthusiasts and a cherished gift for connoisseurs.
