The Merlot Alto Adige DOC - Tramin represents an elegant expression of an international grape variety interpreted with refined sensitivity in the heart of Alto Adige. Cultivated in high-altitude vineyards, this Merlot benefits from the alpine climate that gives freshness and a distinct minerality to the wine. The aging takes place in oak barrels, which impart structure and enveloping notes of spices and vanilla without overpowering the fruity personality of the Merlot. On the nose, it expresses aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and a touch of aromatic herbs, while on the palate it shows softness, balance, and sweet tannins, combining elegance and persistence. A versatile wine that pairs classily with red meats, game, and aged cheeses, revealing all the finesse of the Alto Adige territory through a refined and inviting glass.
