The Metodo Classico Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs of Cantina Puiatti represents an elegant expression of Italian sparkling wine craftsmanship, coming from Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region renowned for its Chardonnay grapes. This sparkling wine is made exclusively from white grape varieties, giving the product a fresh and refined structure, an essential characteristic of Blanc de Blancs. The prolonged aging on lees imparts aromatic complexity to the wine, with hints of bread crust, white-fleshed fruit, and a subtle mineral note that enhances its territoriality.

On the palate, it is fresh and vibrant, with a fine and persistent bubble that accompanies a balanced acidity, typical of Extra Brut, which are characterized by a very low residual sweetness. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with raw fish dishes, shellfish, or delicate risottos, this Magnum is the ideal choice for moments of celebration and conviviality, offering an authentic and engaging tasting experience.

Winery history
Active since 1967 in the Isonzo/Friuli area, Cantina Puiatti has established itself as a producer dedicated to the modern reinterpretation of Friulian white wines. Over the years it has maintained a distinctive style focused on the pursuit of freshness and aromatic clarity, while remaining part of larger ownership groups within the wine sector.
Production philosophy
The winery favors the fullest expression of fruit and terroir: vinification in stainless steel, fermentation and aging on the fine lees, and limited or no use of wood for the whites. It also promotes sustainable vineyard practices with measures aimed at preserving biodiversity and soils.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are situated on the hills and along the banks of the Isonzo, in a microclimate that combines Mediterranean influences with continental currents. Gravelly, pebbly soils impart sapidity and minerality to the wines, while moderate diurnal temperature variations encourage slow, balanced ripening.
