Meursault - Les clous - Eric Boigelot is a white wine that embodies the elegance and richness of the Burgundy terroir, in the renowned Meursault appellation, located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. Produced from Chardonnay grapes grown with great respect for tradition and nature, this wine perfectly expresses the mineral and buttery character that distinguishes the area. The vines located in Les Clous, with their limestone and clay soil, give the wine a clear and deep structure.
The aging method involves a long period in oak barrels, which enriches the aromatic profile with delicate notes of vanilla, hazelnut, and melted butter, without ever overpowering the freshness and vibrant acidity that characterize it. On the nose, there is a complexity of ripe citrus, almonds, and a touch of honey, while on the palate it reveals itself to be soft, balanced, and persistent, with a pleasant savoriness.
This Meursault pairs wonderfully with fish dishes, shellfish, and white meats, but also enhances soft cheeses. A wine of great personality, which tells the nobility of one of Burgundy’s most evocative terroirs.
