The Mezcal Juan Hernandez Tobaziche is born in the heart of the state of Oaxaca, one of the most iconic regions for mezcal production in Mexico. Made exclusively from the tobaziche vine, a less common variety of wild agave, this distillate expresses a unique and territorial character, strongly linked to the ancient artisanal traditions of Palenque Juan Hernandez. The distillation still takes place according to ancestral methods, using traditional earthen ovens, which give the mezcal an intense and deeply smoky aromatic profile.

On the nose, the Mezcal Juan Hernandez Tobaziche releases complex notes of dry field, damp earth, wild herbs, and intriguing mineral scents, accompanied by a pleasant sweet and citrusy background. On the palate, it reveals itself warm and enveloping, with a balance between smoke, savoriness, and a soft persistence reminiscent of flint and black pepper notes. The high quality of the tobaziche is perceived in the structure and elegance of this mezcal, perfect for those who enjoy slow and reflective tastings.

It pairs beautifully with flavorful dishes from traditional Mexican cuisine, such as grilled meats or spicy mole, enhancing their aromatic richness without overpowering it. A true gem for lovers of the most authentic mezcal.
