The Mezcal Tepeztate Espadin Joven of Aprendiz is an authentic and vibrant expression of the mezcal tradition from Oaxaca, produced in the Oaxaca region, the beating heart of this ancestral distillate. Made with a skillful blend of wild Tepeztate agaves and the more common Espadin, this mezcal is presented as an unaged joven, preserving the freshness and intensity of the mountainous territory from which it comes.

On the nose, it opens with wild and earthy notes, shaded by smoky hints typical of baking in underground ovens, followed by herbal and citrus accents. On the palate, the complexity is expressed in a balance between spiciness and vegetal sweetness, accompanied by a long and decisive finish, slightly mineral. The particular presence of Tepeztate gives the mezcal a bold and rustic character, ideal for those who love intense tasting experiences.

Excellent both neat, as a meditative digestif, and mixed in sophisticated cocktails, it perfectly accompanies Mexican cuisine dishes and flavorful barbecues.
