Montagny Premier Cru "Les Bassets" 2021, produced by the esteemed Laurent Cognard & Co winery, is a white wine that captures the essence of southeastern Burgundy. This specimen comes from top-tier vineyards, located in the heart of the Montagny appellation, known for its elegant and refined wines.

The year 2021 allowed for the production of high-quality Chardonnay grapes, which is reflected in the glass with a wine of beautiful aromatic complexity. On the nose, "Les Bassets" exhibits vibrant notes of white-fleshed fruit, subtle floral hints, and a touch of minerality. On the palate, it is rich and structured, yet retains remarkable freshness. The aging in barriques imparts a delicious balance between the intense fruit and the toasty, vanilla nuances.

Ideal to be served at a temperature of 10-12°C, the "Les Bassets" 2021 pairs beautifully with delicate fish dishes, seafood, or as an aperitif. This wine is also an excellent candidate for aging, capable of evolving magnificently in the cellar over the next 5-8 years.
