The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Terra d'Aligi DOC produced by Cantine Spinelli is an outstanding example of this Italian region's ability to produce red wines with great character and depth. This wine is celebrated for its robust structure and intense aromatic notes, making it a true standout on the tables of fine wine lovers.

Made exclusively from Montepulciano grapes, Terra d'Aligi is crafted using traditional methods that enhance its quality and connection to the region. The vines from which the grapes are sourced are planted in clayey and calcareous soils, elements that impart a particular minerality and a unique expression of the terroir to the wine.

Visually, the wine displays an intense ruby red color with violet hues that suggest its youth and vitality. On the nose, vibrant aromas of ripe red fruits like blackberry and cherry emerge, enriched by nuances of spices and a light vanilla touch, due to the aging period in wood.

On the palate, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Terra d'Aligi offers a solid and well-balanced structure, with mature and velvety tannins that blend beautifully with a pleasant acidity. The warm and lingering aftertaste reflects the generosity of this wine.

Ideal as a pairing for red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, Terra d'Aligi is a wine that also unfolds magnificently over several years of aging, gradually revealing new nuances of taste and complexity. Certainly, a must-try wine for lovers of powerful and expressive reds.
