The Moscato d'Asti DOCG by Banfi, labeled under the name Sciandor, is born in the heart of Piedmont, a land renowned for its aromatic grape varieties and careful winemaking. This sparkling wine, made exclusively from the Moscato Bianco grape, captivates with its lightness and freshness, the result of grapes grown with traditional methods and hand-harvested to preserve aromatic integrity. Sciandor stands out for its delicate and persistent perlage, accompanied by floral notes of orange blossom and peach, enriched by balanced sweetness and a slight hint of honey. The aging takes place in temperature-controlled tanks to enhance the freshness and fragrance of the wine, maintaining a low alcohol content typical of the denomination. Perfect to pair with light desserts, dry pastries, or as a wine for contemplation, it offers a delicate and refined sensory experience.

Winery history
Cantina Santi was founded as a winery in Illasi and has been present in Valpolicella since the 19th century. During the 20th century the Santi family introduced technical innovations and progressively focused on high-end wines; in 1974 the winery became part of Gruppo Italiano Vini, which reinforced investments and facilities while preserving its local identity.
Production philosophy
Santi claims a style tied to the sense of place of Valpolicella: it favors the predominant use of Corvina in its selections, aging in large traditional casks, and the use of local woods to enhance the aromatic qualities typical of native grape varieties. The approach combines oenological research with respect for local practices.
Terroir and vineyards
Santi's vineyards and selections are concentrated in Val d'Illasi and the classic areas of Valpolicella, using a vineyard-selection approach across different exposures and microclimates to produce wines that reflect the local terroir. The winery also works with vineyards in other Veronese appellations such as Soave, Bardolino and Lugana.
