The Nebbiolo Rosso Gattinara DOCG 2016 by Torraccia is an authentic expression of the Piedmontese territory, known for its morainic soils and the influence of the continental climate that give character and structure to the wine. Produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, this wine stands out for its aging in wooden barrels which enhances its complexity and longevity.

In the glass, it presents an intense ruby red color, enriched with garnet reflections typical of aging. On the nose, it releases aromas of violet, ripe cherry, sweet spices and light balsamic notes, while on the palate it reveals itself elegant and velvety, with refined tannins and a persistent finish that invites sip after sip.

Ideal to pair with red meats, braised dishes or aged cheeses, this Nebbiolo tells the strength of Gattinara's winemaking tradition with a contemporary freshness.

Winery history
The company's origins date back to the 1950s, when Pierino Piantavigna planted the first vineyards; it was officially established in 1997 by Alessandro Francoli. Over time ownership and management have evolved to include local family collaborations and an expansion of vineyards and production, while maintaining a focus on the viticultural traditions of the Colline Novaresi.
