The Nebbiolo Rosso Ghemme DOCG Jeroboam 2009 by Torraccia is a refined example of the winemaking excellence of Piedmont, in the area known for producing structured and long-lasting wines. Obtained from Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the vineyards of Ghemme, this wine best expresses the territorial character with an aging process that combines tradition and mastery: part of the aging takes place in oak barrels, imparting complexity and softness to the sip.
In the glass, it presents a bright garnet color, accompanied by an intense bouquet of ripe red fruits, notes of withered rose, delicate spices, and hints of damp earth. On the palate, it reveals itself to be harmonious and elegant, with well-integrated tannins and a persistent allure that recalls light nuances of leather and licorice. Ideal paired with typical Piedmontese dishes such as Barolo braised beef or roasted red meats, it is a wine that tells the richness of its territory with finesse and depth.
