The Nebbiolo Rosso Ghemme DOCG Riserva 2012 by Torraccia is a refined example of the Piedmontese winemaking tradition, coming from the historic Ghemme area, located on the Novara hills. This wine is made from Nebbiolo grapes, a variety famous for its elegance and longevity, which here expresses a bold and enveloping character. The prolonged aging in wood enhances the sophisticated notes of small red fruits, sweet spices, and light balsamic hints, while the well-integrated tannic structure ensures a harmonious balance and remarkable gustatory persistence.

In the glass, it appears with an intense ruby color, bright and lively. The aromatic profile opens with scents of withered rose, cherry, and an earthy touch characteristic of the territory. Perfect paired with red meats, roasts, and aged cheeses, this Nebbiolo Rosso Riserva offers a sensory experience that celebrates the excellence and identity of DOCG Ghemme.

Winery history
The company's origins date back to the 1950s, when Pierino Piantavigna planted the first vineyards; it was officially established in 1997 by Alessandro Francoli. Over time ownership and management have evolved to include local family collaborations and an expansion of vineyards and production, while maintaining a focus on the viticultural traditions of the Colline Novaresi.
