The Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC by I Tini fully expresses the essence of Sicily through one of its most representative grape varieties. This red wine is characterized by its deep ruby color, which heralds a bouquet of intense aromas where notes of ripe red fruits and delicate spices can be recognized, with a slight hint of vanilla and dark chocolate derived from a skilled use of wood during aging.

In the mouth, I Tini's Nero d'Avola is generous and complex. It starts off soft and enveloping, allowing flavors of cherry, plum, and black pepper to gradually emerge. The structure is solid, supported by mature and velvety tannins that lead to a persistent finish, with an elegant aftertaste of tobacco and leather.

Grown in the rich and sunny soils of Sicily, this wine benefits from ideal climatic conditions that enhance the ripening of the grapes and the concentration of flavors. Every phase of production is carefully managed to preserve the natural characteristics of the grape variety and the terroir.

Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC by I Tini is an excellent companion for robust dishes such as roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses. It is also a great choice to accompany an evening of conversation in front of the fireplace. Its versatility also makes it enjoyable on less formal occasions, perhaps served slightly chilled, to further enhance its freshness and aromatic liveliness.

Ultimately, this wine is not just a beverage to be enjoyed; it is an experience that recounts Sicilian winemaking tradition with every sip.

Winery history
The estate is managed by the Fronti family: the family's agricultural business traces its origins to the enterprise started by Bruno Fronti in 1959; the first vineyard land was purchased in 1982. For years the grapes were sold in bulk to third parties until the first bottling under their own label with the 2009 vintage. In 2012 they launched a project of separate vinification for cru from individual vineyards. The estate has been certified organic since the 2016 vintage.
Production philosophy
Expressive regional wines produced by prioritizing Sangiovese from individual vineyards, environmentally friendly agricultural practices, and winemaking aimed at highlighting site exposure and soil characteristics. The approach focuses on quality, limited production per individual cru, and sustainability.
Terroir and vineyards
Discontinuous vineyards located in the Chianti Classico area, characterized by high elevations and loose soils dominated by galestro and alberese. Main vineyards: Vigna Istine, Casanova dell'Aia and Cavarchione.
