Nuits St Georges Au Bas de Combe - A. Chopin et Fils is an elegant red wine from the renowned Côte de Nuits, in the Burgundy region. This wine roots itself in the unique terroir of the vineyards located in Au Bas de Combe, an area that ensures ideal exposure and microclimate for growing Pinot Noir, the flagship grape of the appellation. The vinification of this cru is carried out with great attention to detail, respecting tradition and the balance between natural expression and controlled aging.

The aging, usually conducted in French oak barrels for an appropriate period, gives the wine a refined structure and an aromatic complexity revealed in notes of ripe red fruits, delicate spices, and light earthy nuances. On the palate, Au Bas de Combe offers a balance between soft tannins and a vibrant freshness, with a persistent finish that enhances its nobility and elegance. Perfect with typical French dishes such as roasts, game, and aged cheeses, this wine best expresses the vocation of Nuits-Saint-Georges as a land of great reds with character.
