The Pepato Serrapetrona DOC by Fontezoppa represents a unique excellence in the panorama of wines from Marche, produced in the picturesque hilly area of Serrapetrona. This wine comes from the indigenous Vernaccia Nera grape variety, vinified with a typical method that includes a second natural fermentation in the bottle, giving the product a fine and lively sparkle.

In the glass, it presents an intense ruby red color, enriched by delicate bubbles that enhance its freshness and structure. The aroma releases fruity notes of cherry and wild berries, accompanied by a delicate spicy scent reminiscent of pepper, from which the name “Pepato” derives. The taste is balanced, fresh, and savory, with a persistent and pleasantly sparkling finish.

Ideal paired with cured cold cuts, white meat dishes, or medium-aged cheeses, this red sparkling wine is perfect for convivial moments and for those seeking a wine that embodies the Marche territory.
