The Pic Saint-Loup Olivette from Clos Marie is an extraordinary example of French winemaking, an exhilarating representation of the unique terroir of Languedoc. This red wine is mainly composed of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre grapes, which grow on limestone and clay soils, imparting the wine with a distinctive mineral structure.

The winemaking follows traditional methods, with fermentation in open vats and a long maturation period in oak barrels that infuse complexity and harmony. In the glass, Pic Saint-Loup Olivette presents a deep, intense red color.
On the nose, it offers a rich bouquet of ripe red fruit aromas like blackberries and cherries, accompanied by spicy and balsamic notes. On the palate, the wine reveals a robust and well-balanced body, with soft tannins complementing its elegant persistence.

Ideal as a companion for hearty red meat dishes, game, or aged cheeses, this wine is an excellent choice for those seeking a deep and intense tasting experience. The Pic Saint-Loup Olivette is a testament to the excellence and passion of Clos Marie and proves to be a prestigious addition to any wine collection.

Winery history
Clos Marie originated from the vineyards inherited from "Marie", Françoise Julien's grandmother; the project took shape in the mid-1990s and, over the following decades, the domaine expanded to more than twenty hectares. Founders Françoise Julien and Christophe Peyrus gradually transitioned its management to organic and biodynamic practices, developing cuvées recognized at a national level.
Production philosophy
The work focuses on soil care and minimal intervention in the cellar: manual work, hand‑harvesting, fermentations with indigenous yeasts, and certified biodynamic vineyard management, with the aim of faithfully expressing the character of Pic Saint‑Loup.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyard is located in the Pic Saint‑Loup area, on the slopes at the foot of the Cévennes, with limestone and marl soils typical of the appellation; the altitude and breezes lend a balancing freshness to the Mediterranean fruit.
