The Pinot Nero DOC Bertone of Conte Vistarino is born in the hills of Oltrepò Pavese, a land renowned for the quality of its aromatic red wines and marked elegance. This Pinot Nero, an international grape variety that finds ideal climatic conditions and soils here, expresses a refined complexity thanks to the perfect balance between freshness and structure. The aging method in wooden barrels gives a delicate spicy character and vanilla notes, which blend harmoniously with the aromas of small red fruits and floral hints typical of the variety. The color is a bright ruby red, with good olfactory intensity that anticipates a soft but persistent sip, with velvety tannins and a harmonious finish. It is a versatile wine, ideal paired with white meat dishes, delicate game, and medium-aged cheeses, enhancing the wine tradition of the Lombard territory.

Winery history
The Giorgi di Vistarino family estate has roots in the Oltrepò Pavese dating back to the mid-19th century, when the Counts Vistarino introduced Pinot Noir to the Rocca de’ Giorgi property and were early experimenters with vinification using the traditional method. In recent decades the estate has been relaunched and modernized while preserving its historical identity and its commitment to hill-grown grape varieties.
