The Pinot Noir Incline from the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, signed by Domaine Roy & Fils, represents an elegant example of wines from the Willamette Valley, Oregon. This appellation, known for its ideal microclimate and soil rich in clay and volcanic sediments, imparts a distinctive, refined, and complex character to the Pinot Noir. The wine is made from carefully selected Pinot Noir grapes, handcrafted fermented, and aged with long periods in French oak barrels, which add delicate spicy notes and a velvety structure.

On the nose, it opens with aromas of ripe cherries, wild strawberries, and subtle hints of damp earth, while on the palate it reveals itself as harmonious, with silky tannins and a vibrant freshness. The persistent finish leaves traces of sweet spices and a mineral touch, typical of the territory. Perfect to pair with dishes based on white meat, mushrooms, or delicate cheeses, this Pinot Noir highlights the elegance and complexity of the variety in the unique context of Yamhill-Carlton.
