The Porto 10Y Tawny - Cristiano Van Zeller represents an elegant expression of Portuguese Fortified Wine, coming from the renowned Douro region. Obtained from a blend of indigenous grape varieties typical of the denomination, this wine matures for at least ten years in wooden barrels that impart complexity and softness to the taste.

On the nose, aromas of dried fruit, walnuts, caramelized figs, and light vanilla notes can be perceived, while on the palate it reveals a velvety and harmonious texture, balanced by a fresh acidity that enhances its persistence. The delicate balance between sweetness and structure makes the 10 Year Old Tawny a wine for contemplation, also perfect paired with desserts featuring nuts or aged cheeses.

This Porto is a refined example of the Portuguese tradition, ideal for those seeking timeless elegance and a rich aromatic heritage, preserved and enhanced by the Cristiano Van Zeller winery.

Winery history
A member of a family active in the Douro wine trade since the 17th century, Cristiano van Zeller worked in several Douro ventures and in 1996 founded Quinta Vale D. Maria together with Joana Lemos. Over time he has led and relaunched the Van Zellers & Co. brand, is among the founders of the CV project, and took part in founding the 'Douro Boys' group to promote Douro DOC wines.
