Porto Reserve Tawny from Quinta de Carvalhas is a refined expression of the famous Douro region, where tradition and terroir harmoniously merge. This Porto is made from a careful selection of typical regional grapes, particularly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz, grown on centuries-old vineyards benefiting from the Mediterranean climate and schistous soils.

After fermentation, the wine rests for a variable period in oak barrels, a process that gives the Tawny its typical aromatic complexity and an elegant balance between freshness and softness. On the nose, there are hints of dried fruit, dried figs, caramel, and spicy notes, while on the palate it is velvety with a pleasant, slightly bitter persistence.

Excellent as a contemplative wine, it pairs perfectly with almond-based desserts or dark chocolate, but also offers an unexpected harmony with aged cheeses. A refined testimony to the unique character of the Douro.
