The Primitivo di Manduria DOP Papale Magnum from the Varvaglione winery represents one of the brightest gems of the Apulian wine tradition. This red wine, produced from the best Primitivo grapes, has an intense, almost impenetrable ruby color, which anticipates its high-level organoleptic qualities.

On the nose, it offers a complex and fascinating bouquet, dominated by notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, accompanied by nuances of sweet spices, vanilla and light hints of cocoa and tobacco. This aromatic range is the result of careful vinification and a period of refinement in barrique, which enriches the wine with elegance and depth.

On the palate, the Papale Magnum reveals itself to be full and enveloping, with well-integrated tannins and a robust but harmonious structure. Its well-balanced acidity and long, persistent finish make it an ideal companion for red meat dishes, game and mature cheeses. Its aging capacity makes it a collectible wine, capable of evolving and improving over time.

This Primitivo di Manduria is an excellent choice for important evenings and refined dinners, offering a sensorial experience that fully expresses the terroir and mastery of the Varvaglione winery.
