The Primitivo Puglia IGT in a 3‑liter Bag-in-Box format offers an immediate, generous sip: intense ruby color, aromas of ripe red fruit with spicy nuances, and a softness that wraps the palate. There’s a balance between body and freshness, tannins are present but gentle, and a pleasant persistence recalls plum and toasted notes without becoming cloying. The style is solid and convivial, aimed at those seeking a rich yet easy-to-read wine that doesn’t lose character after opening thanks to the packaging. The practicality of the Bag-in-Box makes it ideal for everyday use: easy to dispense, it retains its qualities for weeks and suits informal meals and dinner gatherings.

Serve slightly cool to enhance the fruit and freshness; it pairs well with grilled meat, pasta with savory sauces, and medium-aged cheeses. A versatile companion for everyday life and social occasions.

Winery history
VeroVino was born from the experience of Sheila Donohue, a sommelier and founder who lived in Italy for many years and chose to promote small artisanal producers to the U.S. market. The business has grown through organizing events, wine clubs, and offering selections imported directly from farms and family-run producers. On the company blog and in the "Our Story" section, the founder recounts the journey that led to the launch of the project and to meeting several Italian producers.
Production philosophy
The company's philosophy favors small-scale agricultural production, "farm-to-glass" wines and products made using methods that respect the land. VeroVino seeks bottles and oils that convey the authenticity of their place of origin, highlighting biodynamic, organic or low-intervention practices where present, and values direct relationships with producers.
