The Rhum Agricole L’Intense 2016 Karukera is born in Guadeloupe, a land of tradition in the production of agricole rums, where the tropical climate and volcanic soil help shape a distillate with a unique character.
Made exclusively with fresh sugarcane juice, this rum stands out for its refinement and complex structure. The aging takes place in oak barrels, which impart enveloping notes of vanilla, tobacco, and sweet spices to the distillate, balanced by herbaceous hints typical of the sugarcane variety.
On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of ripe fruit, quince, and citrus, while on the palate it shows a soft richness with nuances of bitter cocoa and peppery notes that extend the finish. The persistence is harmonious and leaves a pleasant sensation of warmth.
