The story
The earliest documented traces of rum production in the Appleton Estate area date to 1749. The estate developed over the centuries in Nassau Valley, consolidating a tradition of sugar cane cultivation, distillation and aging. In the 20th century Appleton and J. Wray & Nephew had intertwined industrial histories; in recent years the Campari Group has invested in local operations and the global relaunch of the brand (acquisition and development through J.
