The Rhum Nine Leaves 2017 Ex-Bourbon Oak Batch is a Japanese distillate that embodies the essence of a refined artisanal tradition and meticulous attention to detail. Produced by the eponymous distillery located in the verdant Tochigi prefecture, this rum is made from selected molasses, distilled using traditional methods that enhance its purity and character.

The aging takes place in ex-bourbon oak barrels, which impart to the distillate a complex and enveloping aromatic bouquet, with warm notes of vanilla, caramel, honey, and a delicate spicy touch.

On the palate, a balance emerges between sweetness and structure, with fruity notes of dried fruit and a pleasant persistence. Perfect to enjoy neat or with a few ice cubes, it pairs excellently with dark chocolate desserts or toasted dried fruit. An authentic expression of contemporary Japanese rum.
