The Riesling Auf Der Mauer from Bassermann-Jordan winery is a wine that captures the essence of the terroir of the renowned wine region of Pfalz in Germany. This wine is known for its vibrant acidity and extraordinary freshness that make it perfect for a wide variety of culinary pairings.

The Riesling Auf Der Mauer presents itself with a brilliant straw-yellow color. The nose expresses intense aromas of white-fleshed fruit, such as peach and apple, enriched by floral nuances and a slight mineral touch reminiscent of wet stone. On the palate, the wine reveals itself as complex and multi-layered, with a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity, culminating in a long and pleasantly persistent finish.

The particular denomination "Auf Der Mauer" refers to a historic wall that borders the vineyard, which according to local tradition plays an important role in the thermal regulation of the area, thus contributing to the uniqueness of this Riesling. This wine is ideal to serve chilled as an aperitif or paired with aromatic fish dishes, seafood, and spicy Asian cuisine.
