The Romagna Albana DOCG Passito 50cl - Solara - Celli is a wine of exceptional expressiveness and complexity, produced in the rich wine region of Romagna by Cantina Celli, a name historically respected for its dedication to creating high-quality wines. This wine is crafted exclusively from Albana grapes, a native varietal of the region, carefully selected for the production of this passito version, which best concentrates the characteristics of the fruit.

The late harvest, followed by a natural drying process of the grapes, gives this wine an intense concentration of aromas and flavors. The color is a deep and bright gold, which foreshadows the olfactory richness that unfolds in the glass: notes of dried apricot, honey, caramel, and a slight touch of sweet spices like vanilla.

On the palate, the Romagna Albana DOCG Passito by Celli reveals itself to be sweet yet balanced, with a pleasant acidity that refreshes the tasting experience. Sensations of nuts, such as almonds and walnuts, blend with those of candied fruit and jam, in a long and persistent finish.

Ideal as a meditation wine, it is magnificent when paired with complex desserts, blue cheeses, or foie gras. Serve at a temperature of about 12-14°C to fully appreciate its aromatic range.

This wine represents an outstanding example of Albana Passito, a jewel that encapsulates all the tradition and savoir-faire of Cantina Celli, an authentic expression of the Romagnolo terroir in a bottle.

Winery history
According to official information, the winery was established in Bertinoro in 1963 and is managed by the Sirri and Casadei families. From traditional farmhouse wines, the estate has progressively shifted its focus to quality and local typicity, developing vineyards around the village and selecting parcels to produce wines of character.
Production philosophy
Emphasis is placed on the connection to the land and on typicity: all wines are produced from estate-grown grapes, and the estate has completed conversion to organic farming for its grapes. The approach favors separate vinification of individual parcels to highlight distinct characteristics and create balanced blends.
