Winery history
Podere Vecciano is a family-run estate led by Davide Bigucci, who has guided the estate toward sustainable agricultural practices. The winery has been renovated to integrate with the landscape and houses full winemaking facilities, barrel ageing and an in-house bottling line. The estate offers visits, tastings and experiences related to the local area.
Production philosophy
The winery states that it works in harmony with nature, following the natural cycles of its vineyards and favouring organic and sustainable farming practices to produce wines that express the character of the territory without forced intervention.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on the hills of the Rimini hinterland, in the Coriano/Vecciano area. The microclimate is influenced by proximity to the sea and by the typical calcareous-clay soils, which are well suited to both indigenous and international grape varieties.
