The Rosso Colli del Limbara IGT Bacchjera is born in the heart of Sardinia, in the evocative area of the Colli del Limbara, where the granitic territory and the unique microclimate give character and personality to the wine. This red expresses itself through native grape varieties, enhancing the local tradition in a harmonious and well-structured blend.

The refining process, often carried out in oak barrels with particular attention to maturation times, gives the wine an enveloping aromatic complexity and an elegant balance. On the nose, a range of intense aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and light balsamic notes emerges. The taste is soft, with silky tannins and a persistent finish, able to gracefully accompany Sardinian cuisine dishes such as grilled meats or aged cheeses.

Bacchjera thus authentically interprets the island terroir, offering a refined sensory experience, perfect for those seeking a territorial red with a vibrant and rooted soul.

Winery history
The winery was established as an organized business in 2010 to formalize a family winemaking tradition. With the construction of a small, well-equipped cellar, operations shifted from mainly selling bulk wine to bottling. The first bottled vintages were 2014 for the Vermentino "Li Muri" and the red "Bacchjera", while the red aged in barrique "Capidannu" dates back to 2013. The three wines were presented to the public for the first time in June 2015.
Production philosophy
The production approach combines respect for traditional vineyard practices with the adoption of modern winemaking and aging techniques, showcasing the indigenous varieties of Gallura alongside international grape varieties.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the Colli del Limbara area, in the portion well suited to Vermentino di Gallura, in a locality named after a small rural chapel dedicated to San Leonardo. The estate and winery are in Calangianus, Sardinia.
