During the last week of September, the harvest of the Rosso di Montalcino grapes begins. Carefully selected, these are then de-stemmed and subsequently fermented inside steel barrels at a controlled temperature.

Rosso di Montalcino is characterized by an aging in wood for about 12 months, and then an aging in the bottle, useful and necessary to bring it to the right maturation. A wine with uncommon characteristics of complexity, the short production process.

A wine that has characteristics very similar to a Brunello, albeit simplified and considerably younger. It has a bright and luminous ruby red colour. On the nose it offers a rich and seductive fruity and floral bouquet, while from the first sip it presents an intense and balsamic aroma, tannic at the right point and with a vibrant acidity that makes it extremely balanced.

Very pleasant in combination with meat-based dishes, roasts, pizza and medium-aged cheeses.
