The Rum Andrés Brugal is an emblematic distillate from the Dominican Republic, produced in the historic Brugal distillery, located in the Puerto Plata region. Made primarily from sugarcane molasses, this rum stands out for an aging process in American oak barrels, which imparts a refined complexity and structure. The Dominican tropical territory, with its warm and humid climate, favors a rapid and intense maturation, enhancing the typical organoleptic characteristics of this rum category.
On the nose, notes of vanilla, caramel, and fruity hints such as banana and pineapple are immediately perceived, intertwined with a light sweet spiciness reminiscent of cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is smooth and enveloping, with a medium body and a long, persistent finish that leaves traces of toasted wood and dried fruit. This rum is ideal to sip neat or with an ice cube, but it is also excellent for preparing classic cocktails like the Daiquiri or the Mojito.
Thanks to its versatility, the Rum Andrés Brugal represents an excellent expression of Caribbean tradition, able to thrill both novices and the most experienced enthusiasts.
